Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe is a board game that consists of nine tic-tac-toe boards arranged in a 3x3 grid. You have the option to play against the computer or challenge a friend in a game of tic-tac-toe. You can choose the traditional 3x3 grid for a classic experience, or if you're up for a challenge, you can test your skills on larger grids like 5x5 or 7x7. Compared to regular tic-tac-toe, this game requires more strategic thinking and has proven to be a challenge for computers.
How To Play
You can choose between two play modes: single player and multiplayer. Once you've selected your preferred mode, you can also choose the difficulty level: easy, medium, or hard.
Similar to regular tic-tac-toe, the two players (X and O) take turns starting with X. Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe begins with X placing their marker anywhere on the 81 empty spots. Then, the opponent must play on the small board indicated by the relative location of the previous move. For example, if X plays in the top-right square of a small 3x3 board, then O must play in the small board located at the top right of the larger board. The spot chosen determines which small board the next player will play in.
